Started with a piano lesson, then headed off to town to see Mum for a few hours. Afterwards, picked up Stay Gold by First Aid Kit and Purpose by Justin Bieber from HMV to bolster the next phase of new music.
Tried doing some guitar worship, then watched a few more episodes of Naruto. Then decided to read some bible while listening to Love Ran Red by Chris Tomlin. After some classic “spirit-filled” verse hopping, I landed on Malachi ch. 1 vs 10-11:
“Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me.”
I found it funny that God wanted the temple shutting, when it was a place to worship him. But worship shouldn’t be confined to events or moments, because it exists everywhere at all times. Then headed down for tea with the Restore crew. Had to take a tactical toilet trip to prevent myself from eating unnecessary amounts of cheesecake. Although, just because you don’t need cake, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t eat it. However, when I returned, someone else had finished the last slice, depriving me of free choice.
