I went to town to visit the only shops I need, apart from supermarkets; TK Maxx, and HMV. Inside these establishments, all my worldly needs of clothing and entertainment are met. Bought some new shorts, then purchased the final additions to my new music phase. Every so often, I get a new set of albums which somehow assimilated my experiences over a period. The best albums are from artists I’ve never heard of, or from bands I know I like, but with songs I don’t know. Especially as a musician, I feel it’s vital to hear new sounds and expose myself to unfamiliar art. Got Katie Melua, OneRepublic, Michael Kiwanuka and Catherine Bott.
Afterward ma followed the tedious transfer from CD to iTunes. I’m convinced Apple make the programme five times slower on Windows computers. Also bought a yoga book, that I tried out once I got home. It’s very restful, but quite similar to Pilates, so not sure if it’s my thing. Rested with God few a few moments in the silence after a shower. He told me to read Luke 18:16.
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
In those days, children were considered worthless and almost sub-human, as they had no practical worth before they became adults. Jesus doesn’t mean we have to be wide-eyed and innocent, but aware of how weak we are without him.
